Solar Power Generation

Solar canopies provide dual benefits: they shield vehicles from the sun, keeping them cool, and reduce heat on the pavement, cooling the surrounding area. We're installing 4 MW of solar PV panels on elevated structures, ensuring efficient space use and vehicle shading. These high-efficiency panels are angled to capture maximum sunlight throughout the day.

Our 8 MWh battery storage system stores excess solar energy for use during peak times or power outages. Advanced control algorithms optimize battery health and lifespan, and the system is seamlessly integrated into the microgrid for enhanced grid stability.

Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure

Our basic charging station setup includes 25, Level 3, DC fast chargers, utilizing top-tier technology for efficient compatibility with a range of EV models. Additionally, our stations are equipped with covered parking spaces and LED lighting, ensuring a comfortable experience for our customers.

Charge Oasis Core Technologies

Our power conversion modules are modular and versatile, based on Silicon Carbide high-frequency technology. This allows for a smaller, more efficient design, reducing costs and footprint. The Charge Oasis DC coupled chargers directly utilize battery-stored DC energy, reducing conversion losses and making our system highly efficient and cost-effective. Our equipment takes up significantly less space, offers increased power capacity, and drives down cost, distinguishing Charge Oasis in the microgrid application market.

Grid Connection and Backup

Our microgrid will maintain a connection to the local utility grid, ensuring a consistent power supply to the Charge Oasis system.  During outages, our battery storage system will seamlessly provide backup for essential operations, maintaining the functionality of critical systems such as lighting, cash registers, and security.

This connection, a 1000A service, not only ensures operational continuity but also supports additional charging capacity beyond the solar microgrid's capability. The stored power can potentially be supplied back to the utility for grid support in certain scenarios.

Environmental Impact

Adopting this microgrid solution positions Charge Oasis at the forefront of environmental responsibility. Key environmental impacts include:

  • Carbon Emissions Reduction: The 4 MW solar installation significantly cuts carbon emissions, offsetting an estimated 9K metric tons of CO2 annually.

  • Reducing Fossil Fuel Dependence: The battery storage system lessens reliance on fossil fuel power, especially during peak demand, thereby lowering emissions from conventional power plants.

  • Encouraging Electric Vehicle Use: With 100, Level 3, DC fast chargers, we're bolstering the shift towards electric vehicles, aiding in the transition to cleaner transportation methods.
