Phil Schaefer
CEO & Founder
Meet Philip Schaefer, the mastermind and chief of electrical engineering at Charge Oasis™. Philip founded Charge Oasis™ in May 2021, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his previous ventures, including Pacific Energy Corporation and other technology-oriented companies.
Philip's career in the electrical industry began in 1983, where he started hands-on and eventually founded his own electrical contracting business. More than just an entrepreneur, Philip is an innovator. Prior to Charge Oasis™, he ventured into the renewable energy field with Pacific Energy, establishing a name in Advanced Energy Storage and Power Electronics. His forward-thinking approach and inventive ideas are the cornerstones of Charge Oasis™, guiding the company towards a future of energy efficiency and innovation.
Residing in Riverside, California, with his wife, Kristen, Philip is not only a visionary in his field but also a devoted family man, taking pride in being a father to three children and cherishing his role as a grandfather. His leadership and expertise continue to be pivotal in Charge Oasis’s journey towards a sustainable future.
John Rix
President, Site Development & Project Management
John F. Rix has an impressive tenure of over thirty years in engineering design, research, and development. His expertise spans the critical domains of digital signal processing, software, control systems, acoustics, and optics, positioning him as a notable figure in the field. John’s career showcases a string of successes in research and development, highlighted by the 22 patents he's earned.
His intellectual contributions have been pivotal at prestigious corporations such as IBM, Hughes Missile Systems (known today as Raytheon), and Allied Signal (now Honeywell), where he's infused a robust technological insight.
With a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona, his academic and professional journey illustrates his capacity to actively drive the industry evolution.
